At Chicago House AC, player development goes beyond technical ability and performance on the field. We want our players to become confident teammates, positive role models, and leaders within their community.
The House Legacy Program connects our Academy players, U13 and older, with our Pre-Academy players, U8–U12, through mentorship, encouragement, and friendship.
Every Academy player has someone to lead. Every Pre-Academy player has someone to look up to.

Throughout the season, Big Brothers and Big Sisters will support younger players by:
Welcoming and encouraging their Little Brother or Little Sister
Connecting at club training sessions and special events
Supporting one another at games
Celebrating effort, improvement, and sportsmanship
Leading by example on and off the field
Helping younger players feel connected to the entire club
Big Brothers and Big Sisters are mentors—not coaches. Their role is to encourage, support, and demonstrate what it means to represent Chicago House AC.

Our Academy players accept the responsibility of helping guide the next generation while developing their own communication, accountability, and leadership skills.
Leaders for Life
The goal is not only to develop better soccer players. It is to help develop young people who understand the importance of service, responsibility, and supporting others.
Program Highlights
Meet Your Big Night
Players meet their mentor, begin building a connection, and celebrate the start of the program.
Buddy Training Sessions
Bigs and Littles participate together in selected training activities, competitions, and small-sided games.
Match-Day Support
Players attend and support one another’s games whenever schedules allow.
Camp Leadership
Academy players assist younger players during selected Chicago House camps and clinics.
Community Service
Bigs and Littles represent Chicago House AC together through club service initiatives.
End-of-Season Recognition
Players are recognized for leadership, mentorship, sportsmanship, and commitment to the program.
